John Ransom began racing in mid-1969 by competing in D-production
but has since switched to open-wheel formula cars. Last year(1972),
he placed third in the COWPAC Championship Series in a Brabham
BT29 as well as competing in SCCA National competition. He is a
student as well as the new car manager of Fisher Mazda in Portland.
